Eroded Hydrojet
Figure 1 - Contour Enhancement: The topography is enhanced with the addition of color. Depth has been quantized and assigned unique colors for more precise depth analysis. (Red is high and blue is low.) The edge of the hydrojet imaged with a 100x objective under standard halogen lighting shows characteristic erosion. Analysis at this level shows the magnitude of the erosion providing useful data as to the time course of such microscopic changes.
